DisabledAccessories.com was originally set-up by Glyn Rosser in 2003. Glyn, who is himself disabled following a road traffic accident in November 1992, was appalled at the difficulty in obtaining, and the cost of living aids and equipment in the UK, and was moved to set up disabledaccessories.com in response to this.

After 3 years of running the business, watching it grow and expand, Glyn sold DisabledAccessories.com to Foot Shop Ltd in September 2006.

Foot Shop, who are an established multi-channel retail company based in Street, Somerset, will continue to focus the business on the same core principles which Glyn based the business on which are;

1. To provide a vast range of goods, including the low value items that are not generally profitable, but are very much needed.
2. To create an image (not text) based shop for ease of use that does not require the customer to be able to read.
3. And finally price. Disabledaccessories.com will always be a discount warehouse, with exceptionally low prices. We challenge you to compare us to anybody.

We sell increasing volumes to NHS hospitals, surgeries, schools and colleges, AND supply the general public at exactly the same LOW price. We operate from one pricelist!.

Our aim is to make shopping with us an easy and enjoyable experience.

You can order from us in any of the following ways:

Order online – it’s so simple to order online and pay by debit/credit card. Just search for the products you want and once you’ve found them, just add them to your shopping basket. Once you have selected all the items you wish to purchase, select the checkout option and follow the step by step instructions until you are told that your order is complete! If you are eligible and want to claim VAT Relief (click here for more information) on your purchases, please ensure you complete the on-line VAT Relief claim form during the check out process.

Order by phone – if you prefer not to order over the internet you are welcome to order by telephone, providing you have a valid debit/credit card to pay with. Just call us on 01458 449028 and one of our helpful customer advisors will be pleased to take your order. Please note you can only order by phone if you are not claiming VAT Relief on any of the products you are purchasing, unless you have registered a VAT Relief declaration with us since 1st January 2007.

Our phone lines are open from 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and from 9am to 1pm on Saturdays. It is helpful if you have the product code to hand (this is the code which usually starts 5PR) before phoning.

Order by post – if you are paying with a cheque or need to register a VAT Relief form with us and do not wish to do this on-line, you may post us your order. Order by fax
– you can fax your order to us with your debit/credit card details for payment. Please complete our Order Form and fax to 01458 445988.
